Celebrate Motherhood... Practice
Yoga
Yoga and motherhood go hand in
hand and we heard about a place that you should put on your
radar!
That's right,
Karuna Yoga is a haven and offers the Los Angeles community
Prenatal, Mommy & Me and Children’s Yoga.
As you well know, pregnancy is a
magical time for every woman and yoga offers a tool for women to
whole heartedly embrace their bodies and their breath in order
to make the birthing process easier. Women learn how to
feel good at Karuna Yoga throughout their pregnancy.
Karuna Yoga offers three types
of yoga classes:
Prenatal Yoga classes provide a
safe and uplifting space for women to meet and make new friends
on the same journey. Communities are built from yoga
classes as women share this sacred time together. Classes
include stretching, breathing, dancing, meditation and deep
relaxation. Prenatal yoga classes are filled with joy as
the body begins to comfortably open to prepare for birth.
Prenatal yoga classes are also an
excellent resource for information as women share with each
other ranging from morning sickness (yes, it's true!) to
birth options, from diet to doctors/midwives/doulas choices.
Then, when there's no more Big
Belly, Karuna Yoga's Mommy & Me Yoga provides a happy and
interactive experience for mother and baby to spend time
together stretching, breathing and relaxing. Circles of
friendships expand as mothers come to share this relaxing time
with their little ones.
Then, when your child is ready,
Karuna Yoga offers Children’s Yoga - a fun experience for
children to learn yoga through physical postures, singing,
movement and creative expression. Parents are also amazed
at how well their children focus during yoga.
We're on
our way to Karuna Yoga to connect with community, won't you?
