Peace At The Beach

Wanting to do something in honor of September 11th but don't know what to do?  Well, we found out about "Peace At The Beach" which will be held September 7th in Santa Monica.

In memory of the victims of September 11, the Westside Greens is co-sponsoring this event to unite those who seek peace in this time of war.

This march, rally, and concert event allows those who support peace over war, freedom over oppression, and justice over vengeance an opportunity to unite and demonstrate their solidarity.

The Peace at the Beach event will show that true patriots want a foreign policy that provides real long-term solutions, as opposed to endless conflict.

The Peace at the Beach event is being held in concert with over 150 peace events around the world. The complete worldwide list of events is available at UnitedForPeace.org.

Peace at the Beach takes place Saturday, September 7 and commences with a gathering at 3:00pm at 3rd Street and Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica.

The gathering begins with a march to the Santa Monica Pier at 4:00pm. At 5:00pm, there will be a rally featuring speakers and live music at the end of the Pier.
