Though the girl-team owners, Terrie and Courtney, originally set
out to design French message boards when they started three
twins, it wasn't until they came up with their signature
doorknob plaque that things really took off!
The
charming 3x5 wooden plaques are available in a variety of
patterns that range from toile to gingham to leopard print, and
they come in just about any color you can think of. They
also have a large selection of stock sayings such as "Le Petit
Prince" and "Sleeping Baby." They'll even customize yours
with a child's name or favorite expression for a small fee.
Having just celebrated their one-year anniversary in business,
three twins is expanding its line to include everything from
tissue boxes to customized dressers. And although they now
specialize in plaques, they still do French message boards and
have just started creating gift baskets for baby showers (oh
we like that...).
Currently, they can be found at the Encino Commons Farmers
Market on Saturdays from 8am to noon. The address is 16929
Ventura
Boulevard in Encino.
A
re-vamped website with shopping capabilities will be up towards
the end of October, but until then, you can visit them at the
local Encino market or you can visit them at
www.threetTwins.com - just give them a call, they'll be
happy to take your order!
Courtney and Terrie pride themselves on having an extremely
"personal business" with an emphasis on customer service and
will be happy to make suggestions about fabrics, patterns.. you
name it!
They
have even been known to deliver products to their customers'
homes...
