Twins and More
Club
We found a club
for you parents and parents-to-be of multiples!!
That's right...
doesn't a club that provides members a valuable and important link
to resources, research and support for unique needs for families
with multiples sound good to you???
Does it sound too good to be true!!! Well, we're here to say
that West Los Angeles Parents of Multiples (WLAPOM) and its other
sister parents of multiples organizations are a blessing!!
The WLAPOM presents interesting programs and offer opportunities to
discuss parenting issues. They are a philanthropic club
providing support, resources and money to their charitable causes
and/or families of multiples in need.
By sharing these experiences, you will realize that YOU ARE NOT
ALONE! Difficult moments will become easier with support and
these people know how wonderful and challenging it is to have more
than one baby at the same time.
WLAPOM provides advice and solutions during your pregnancy as well
as during the exhausting and emotional times when the babies arrive.
This social support group offers support meetings where they discuss
specific issues as well as speaker meetings where a speaker gives a
talk about a parenting issue.
WLAPOM is a non-profit charitable organization and was founded in 1993 by a division of the Westside Mothers of
Twins Club originally founded in 1955.
WLAPOM holds monthly meetings, without children, on the second
Tuesday evening of each month.
Prospective members can attend up to three meetings and receive
three newsletters before joining. Dues are $35 annually (a
bargain!) and include
enrollment in NOMOTC (National Organization of Mothers of Twins
Club, Inc.
www.NOMOTC.org) and SCMOTC (Southern California Mothers of Twins
Club www.SCMOTC.org).
Check out
