Your Birth Story Wanted

The Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth (ASAC) wants to hear your birth story!!

To celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2004, the Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth is publishing a book of birth stories. Adventures in Birthing will be a compilation of first-person accounts from people who set out to have a "natural" childbirth, with a variety of outcomes.

If you have a previously unpublished birth story, please send it for consideration.  If your story is included in the book, you'll help thousands of North Americans envision a natural childbirth, and they''ll even send you a free copy of the book late in 2004.

The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2004.
