Here's a rundown of Kathyn's classes:

Prenatal Yoga:
Specially designed for all three trimesters of pregnancy, this class will help to align and harmonize the nervous, digestive, endocrine, respiratory and circulatory systems of the body... as well as feed the mind, heart and spirit with a plentiful dose of prana (life force)!  Pregnancy is an incredible, profound time in a woman's life, unlike any other! Give yourself and your baby the gift of yoga and spend your nine months (and beyond) feeling healthy, happy and positively glowing!

Postnatal Yoga:
Bring yourself back into whole body balance after delivery and bring your baby! Ease through the transition of post-partum by boosting your strength, energy and mental focus. The perfect environment for your well established LA Yoga Mama status-especially for breast feeding mamas.

Level 1/2 Community:
A dynamic and rejuvenating flow experience for body, mind and soul. Relieve tension, increase core strength and consciously expand into new horizons of positive energy, vitality and joy! Beginners welcome.

Yoga not only strengthens and stabilizes the physical body aiding everything from low back pain and varicose veins to muscles cramps and swelling of the legs and feet, but also opens up the energy channels (meridians) in the body creating more freedom and fluidity within. By balancing the energy on all levels (physically, mentally, emotionally) your baby's inner environment will strengthen and expand naturally and comfortably.

You will leave feeling recharged and renewed, smiling from the inside out!

Kathryn Rose Kovarik is a yoga teacher and mother of two young children.  She has found her heart's calling working intimately with women during pregnancy. Known for her enthusiastic approach to encouraging and inspiring women to feel empowered during pregnancy, she brings an empathetic, supportive and positive spirit to every class. Kathryn is a devoted student of yoga, meditation and mind/body healing therapies.

Her teaching style both challenges and nurtures her students through an inspiring sensory experience. By letting the current of heart energy guide the movement, focus is rooted in deep rhythmic breath bringing heat and balance to the inner body, creating suppleness and stability inside and out. The experience is energizing, soothing and both physically and emotionally cleansing.

Kathryn's passion for yoga led her to complete the Teacher Training program at Yoga Works in 2000. Merging together inspirations from a fruitful variety of soulful teachers including Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, John Friend, Saul David Raye and Shiva Rea with her own authentic expression, Kathryn creates a safe and open environment in which students can feel and celebrate the aliveness in the body!
