Know Your Rights At Work

Did you know that most employees can take up to four months of leave from their job if they are disabled during pregnancy?  Did you know you may be entitled to this leave even if you only worked for your present company for one day before needing leave?  Did you know that you may be able to receive pay for some of this time?

Did you know that even if you take four months of leave because of a pregnancy-related disability, you may be entitled to up to 12 weeks of leave to bond with your child after they are born?

Did you know that most employers have to provide you with a private place to express your breast milk if you choose to breastfeed after you return to work?

Learn about these and other rights you have at work during pregnancy from your pregnancy lawyer, Attorney Sarah B. Schlehr.  Sarah’s next seminar will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Birth and Beyond Studio in Santa Monica.

Sarah’s seminars, held monthly, will help you learn how to:

  • Tell your boss you are pregnant
  • Protect your job
  • Take all the leave time you are entitled to
  • Understand the differences between Family and Medical Leave, Pregnancy Disability Leave, and Paid Family Leave
  • Know all the laws that relate to pregnancy

For more details and to register, check out www.pregnancylawyer.com or call Sarah directly at (310) 492-5757.
